Philosophy
Since 1993, Lamar Studios has been creating thoughtful, natural, beautiful images of the very most important aspects of life. Through the years we’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of babies, expectant mothers, siblings, senior high students, engaged couples, families and grand parents. Through every stage of life we have been here, watching our clients grow and change. Helping our clients capture some of those amazing moments has been incredibly rewarding and incredibly humbling.

We’ve also grown and changed over the years as we continue to keep our images creative and fresh while maintaining our commitment to quality, service, and to offering a great experience. Since a large majority of our business comes by word of mouth, Lamar Studios is committed to establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients that last for years to come.

About our studio
Our new studio is located within the Agritopia Community in Gilbert, Arizona. Agritopia is a mixed use community that includes commercial and residential properties. We have tree-lined streets, front porches, white picket fences, and lush grassy lawns. Because of our unique location we have endless outdoor areas to shoot in, as well as a beautiful indoor studio environment.

About us
A husband and wife team, Jon and Bethany are the heart and soul of Lamar Studios. Jon’s art degree and commercial photography background gives him a unique artistic approach to his portrait work, while Bethany’s design skill, creative eye, and feminine sensibilities add to the “touchy feely” side of Lamar Studios. The studio also has a wonderful, hard working support staff, dedicated to producing those amazing images in a timely and proficient manner. Together, they make a great team, and the best part is, they have a fun!
